What AFK Journey codes give
AFK Journey is an idle fantasy RPG where your heroes keep earning rewards even when you are offline. Diamonds are the premium currency used for summons and other upgrades. Codes add free Diamonds plus gold and hero EXP, which help you push further through the story and stages.
Making idle rewards work for you
AFK Journey rewards you for time away, up to a cap. Claim your idle rewards before they hit the cap so nothing is wasted. Pushing further in the story increases the rate of idle rewards, so focus on progress when you are online.
Choosing heroes to build
Heroes belong to factions and classes, and teams with matching factions can gain bonuses. Pick a core team of five that covers damage, tanking and support, then put resources into them. Use the game’s resonance system, where it applies, to share levels across heroes efficiently. Avoid spreading upgrades across too many heroes early.
Spending Diamonds
- Save Diamonds for rate-up banners featuring heroes you need.
- Learn the pity count so you can plan pulls.
- Do not spend Diamonds on small shop items early.
- Use free summon items from events first.
Seasons
AFK Journey runs seasons that add new content and challenges. Season starts are a good time to look for new codes and to plan which heroes to build for the new mechanics.
Why a code might fail
Codes expire, and some are limited to new players or specific events. Paste the code exactly and check it is still active. Each code works once per account.
Where codes are shared
Farlight Games posts codes on the official AFK Journey social accounts and Discord, often during updates and celebrations. We add each one here after checking it.
A simple daily routine
Claim idle rewards, finish daily quests, use your free summon if available, and push one or two story stages. Check events for limited rewards and spend any expiring event currency before it disappears. This routine takes only a few minutes and keeps your account growing steadily. Codes then add a welcome boost on top.
Common mistakes
Spreading resources across many heroes, ignoring the idle reward cap, and spending Diamonds on small shop items are the three most common early mistakes. Focus on your core team, collect idle rewards on time and save Diamonds for meaningful summons.
Arena and PvP
The arena lets you battle other players’ teams for rewards. Set a strong defence team and attack opponents you can beat. Arena rewards, including Diamonds, are paid out regularly, so climbing even a little helps.
Gear and equipment
Heroes wear gear that adds stats. Equip your core team first and upgrade gear as you push the story. Event rewards and idle rewards provide gear materials over time.
Guilds
Joining a guild gives access to guild bosses and rewards. Active guilds share tips and help newer members.

Faction bonuses
Heroes belong to factions, and teams built around one or two factions can gain extra bonuses depending on the version. When you plan which heroes to summon, look at your current team’s factions and aim for heroes that strengthen them. A focused team often clears stages that a mixed team cannot, which raises your idle rewards faster.
