Quick answer: Roblox Premium is a monthly subscription that gives a set amount of Robux each month, a bonus on extra Robux purchases, access to trading, and perks inside some games. It is worth it if you buy Robux regularly or want to trade. If you only buy Robux once in a while, a single purchase or gift card may be better.
| Type | Monthly subscription |
|---|---|
| Main perk | Robux every month |
| Also includes | Bonus Robux on purchases, trading, in-game perks |
| Payment | App, website or gift card |
| Cancel | Any time; perks last until the period ends |
| Prices | Vary by country and tier |
Quick steps
- Compare tiers. Open the Premium page in Roblox to see tiers and prices for your country.
- Pick how to pay. Pay by card, app store, or a Roblox gift card.
- Subscribe. Confirm the tier. Robux arrive with each billing period.
- Manage or cancel. Change or cancel from Settings, or from the app store if you subscribed there.
What Roblox Premium includes
Premium is Roblox’s paid membership. Each tier gives a fixed amount of Robux every month. Members also get a bonus when they buy additional Robux, the ability to trade certain items with other Premium members, and access to Premium-only perks that some game creators add, such as special areas or items. Creators also earn extra Robux when Premium members spend time in their games, which is one reason games add Premium perks.
Tiers and prices
Roblox offers several Premium tiers with different monthly Robux amounts. Prices depend on your country and whether you pay on the website or through a phone’s app store. Check the Premium page in your account for exact current prices before subscribing. Paying on the website can sometimes be cheaper than paying through an app store.
Who Premium is worth it for
- Regular spenders: if you buy Robux every month, Premium usually gives better value.
- Traders: trading limited items needs Premium.
- Fans of certain games: some games give Premium players extra rewards.
- Creators: some selling features have Premium or account requirements.
Who might skip it
If you rarely buy Robux, or only buy for special occasions, a one-time purchase or gift card can be simpler and cheaper. Premium is a recurring payment, so it only makes sense if you will use what you pay for each month.
Paying with a gift card
Roblox gift cards can add credit that pays for Premium. This is handy for players without a bank card and for parents who want a fixed budget. When the credit runs out, the subscription will need a new payment, so check renewal settings.
How to cancel Premium
If you subscribed on the Roblox website, cancel from your account’s subscription settings. If you subscribed through an app store, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store, cancel in that store’s subscription settings. After cancelling, Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Robux already received stay in your account.
For parents
Premium is a recurring charge, so review it with your child. Use parental controls to set monthly spending limits and to get notifications about purchases. A gift card can keep the cost predictable.
Making the most of Premium
Plan what you will buy with your monthly Robux instead of spending them all at once. Check which of your favourite games offer Premium perks. If you trade, learn item values and use only Roblox’s built-in trade system.
Premium vs one-time Robux
Compare the monthly Premium price with buying the same Robux once. If you would buy that amount anyway, Premium’s extra perks make it worthwhile.
Gifting Premium
Gift cards can be used to pay for Premium on someone else’s account if redeemed on that account. This is a simple way to give Premium as a present.
Gifting Premium
