Quick answer: Murder Mystery 2 codes (MM2 codes) are released very rarely, and many weeks have no working code at all. When codes do appear, they usually give a cosmetic knife or item. The reliable ways to get MM2 items are playing rounds for coins, opening crates, completing events and trading safely inside the game.

What is Murder Mystery 2?
Murder Mystery 2, made by Nikilis, is one of Roblox’s oldest and most popular games. Each round, one player is the Murderer, one is the Sheriff and everyone else is an Innocent. The Murderer tries to eliminate everyone, the Sheriff tries to stop them, and Innocents try to survive and collect coins. The game is famous for its knife and gun collection, which has a huge trading community.
Do MM2 codes exist?
Yes, but they are rare. MM2 has released codes occasionally for events, partnerships or milestones. Most of the time there is no working code. Many sites list “MM2 codes” that are years old or never existed. We only list a code after testing it, so if our table is empty, that is the honest answer: there is nothing to redeem right now.
Legit ways to get free MM2 items
- Collect coins: pick up coins during rounds and spend them on crates and items.
- Level up: playing rounds earns experience and sometimes rewards.
- Events: seasonal events, especially Halloween and Christmas, add themed items you can earn.
- Battle pass or seasonal tracks: when offered, these give items as you play.
- Trading: trade items you do not use for ones you want, inside the game’s trade system.
Trading safely in MM2
Because some MM2 items are rare, scams are common. Only trade through the official in-game trade window, and check every item before accepting. Never accept “trust trades” where one person goes first outside the system. Ignore anyone offering items for Robux, gift cards or real money; those deals break Roblox rules and often end with the buyer losing everything. Value lists made by the community can guide you, but they are opinions, not official prices.
Tips for each role
As an Innocent, collect coins while staying near other players. As the Sheriff, wait for clear proof before shooting, because hitting an Innocent ends your role. As the Murderer, avoid crowds and use the map’s corners and corridors.
Fake MM2 code scams
Videos promising “free Godly codes” often link to sites that ask for your login or a “verification” download. MM2 codes are only ever entered inside the game. If anything asks for your password, it is a scam.

Understanding item rarity
MM2 items have rarities such as Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary, Godly and Ancient. Godly and Ancient items are the most sought after, and some come from past events that will not return. Rarity affects how much other players want an item, but value can rise and fall over time. Do not trade a rare item quickly because someone pressures you. Take your time and check several sources before agreeing to any trade.
