How to redeem Roblox codes
- Open the promo code page. Go to roblox.com/promocodes in a web browser. On a phone, use Chrome or Safari; the Roblox app has no promo box.
- Log in. Sign in to the Roblox account that should receive the item.
- Enter the code. Type or paste SPIDERCOLA into the box.
- Redeem and equip. Press Redeem, then open Avatar and find the item under Accessories.
Why are there so few Roblox promo codes now?
Roblox used to release promo codes every few weeks. Today it gives most free items through events and Marketplace drops instead. Many lists online still show a dozen “active” codes, but most of those ended long ago. We only list a code as working after redeeming it on a real account.
Promo codes, gift cards and in-game codes
Roblox has three kinds of codes, and each goes in a different place:
- Promo codes unlock a free avatar item. Redeem at roblox.com/promocodes.
- Gift card PINs add Robux or account credit. Redeem at roblox.com/redeem.
- In-game codes (like Blox Fruits codes) only work inside one experience, in that game’s own code box.
Our full Roblox redeem guide shows each one step by step.
Other ways to get free Roblox items
Search the Marketplace for “free” and filter by price to see items that cost 0 Robux. Platform events also hand out free limited UGC. The 2026 Halloween event, The Hollow, rewards players with exclusive items for finishing quests until November 2.
How Roblox promo codes used to work
For years Roblox released promo codes tied to brand deals, events and holidays. Players redeemed them for hats, shoulder pets and other accessories. Over time Roblox moved most of these rewards into events, where you earn items by playing, and into free Marketplace drops. Promo codes still appear, but only a few times a year.
How to find and equip your promo item
After redeeming, open the Avatar editor on the website or app. Go to Accessories and look under the matching type, such as Shoulder or Hat. Tap the item to wear it. If it does not show, refresh the page or restart the app, because the inventory can take a minute to update.
How we track new promo codes
We follow Roblox’s official announcements and partner campaigns, then test each new code on a real account. When a code works, it goes to the top of the table with a “New” label. When it stops working, it moves to the expired list so you do not waste time on it.
If you see a new code on social media before we list it, try it on the official page. Never type it into a third-party site.
Common mistakes with promo codes
The biggest mistake is typing a game code, like a Blox Fruits code, into the Roblox promo page. It will always fail, because game codes only work inside their own game. The second is redeeming on the wrong account, since promo items cannot be moved to another account later. The third is trusting video titles that say “new” without a date. Always check when a list was last tested before you rely on it.
Bookmark this page and check back during big Roblox moments, such as anniversaries, holiday events and major brand partnerships. Those are the times new promo codes are most likely to appear.
Key takeaways
- SPIDERCOLA is the only confirmed working Roblox promo code in October 2026.
- Promo codes go on roblox.com/promocodes, not inside the app.
- Promo codes give avatar items only and never Robux.
